T2 Design Solutions and InterSystems Partner to Deliver Connected Digital Twins

Creative data technology provider, InterSystems, today at the Gartner Data and Analyst Summit, announced a new partnership with digital twin specialist, T2 Design Solutions Ltd (T2). The partnership sees T2 join the InterSystems ecosystem as a Solution Partner.

The partnership combines T2’s digital twin expertise with InterSystems data platform technology that works alongside the customer’s existing IT and data infrastructure. Together, the companies will enable organisations to connect digital representations of physical assets with real-time operational data, improving the accuracy, scalability, and day-to-day usability of digital twins. The collaboration will support organisations looking to move beyond static visual replicas into connected operational environments. While digital twins are often used to visualise physical environments, their value increases when connected to the live and historical data that underpins operational decision-making.

T2’s digital twin environments give teams an intuitive way to understand complex spaces from retail and manufacturing sites to any organisations managing high-value physical assets. InterSystems data platform technology adds the structure and interoperability needed to connect these environments with operational systems at scale for improved visibility and operational performance.

“Digital twins only deliver real value when they are connected to the data that drives the organisation.” – Aaron Markham, Business Development Director, T2 Design Solutions.

In healthcare, for instance, connected digital twins can help estates, facilities, and operational teams in developing a more detailed, data-driven understanding of how physical spaces are used, enabling more informed decisions around maintenance prioritisation, capacity planning, and long-term asset strategy. In retail and manufacturing environments, digital twins can provide a richer, more accurate representation of physical assets, aiding teams to reduce unnecessary site visits, and accelerate decision making around the design, planning and day to day management of complex spaces.

Looking ahead, the business and operational benefits are expected to grow as digital twins evolve beyond static visual replicas into fully connected operational environments. With access to richer, real-time and historical data, organisations will be able to model change, anticipate issues earlier, and make decisions with greater speed and confidence.

Aaron Markham, Business Development Director at T2 Design Solutions, said: “Digital twins only deliver real value when they are connected to the data that drives the organisation. Our partnership with InterSystems gives customers a stronger foundation for scaling real-time digital twins across large, complex environments. This helps teams gain faster insight, reduce blind spots and plan with greater certainty.”

Clive Rumsey, Sales Director, InterSystems UK, said: “T2 Design Solutions brings deep expertise in the delivery of visual digital environments and digital twins. Bringing T2 into our Partner ecosystem is an important part of InterSystems strategy to work with specialist partners that extend value for customers. By combining T2s capabilities and expertise with InterSystems technology, we can help organisations build digital twins that are connected, scalable, and ready for real-world operational use.”
