Yarn splicing equipment manufacturer, Airbond, are exhibiting on stand L130 at Advanced Engineering

Backed by years of research and development, the company’s products are designed to cut costs in fabric manufacture.

Airbond are showcasing their solution to the problem of splicing difficult yarns used in composites and they say they are the only company able to splice difficult-to-cut fibres such as Dyneema. They also claim to be the only company able to splice really big rovings – up to 16000 tex, when most run out of steam at about 1000 tex.

With one multinational customer recovering their investment in Airbond products in less than two weeks, the company are confident that they can offer customers the opportunity to make significant cost savings.
