Rotaflow design and manufacture a range of swivels joints. Swivel Joints allow fluids to be transferred across rotating interfaces, without leakage.
Simple single flow units are used in many applications including loading arms, articulated pipework and hose reelers. Some applications require articulated pipe work or hoses to allow fluids; such as Hydraulic Power, Air (pneumatic) control lines, or mixed process fluids to be used on moving machinery.
The strong bearing area, of both ball bearings and needle rollers, is complimented with a choice of sealing materials for maximum application compatibility. Over the past 30 years Rotaflow have provided design solutions within many processing sectors.
Swivel joints will allow the movement on a slowly rotating drum or remove the damaging effect of twisting on hoses. We manufacture in both carbon steel and 316 stainless steel with “specials” in any grade of metal to suit customer specification – range of sizes from ¼” to 40” nominal bore.
This multiport unit has been designed to enhance the productivity, reliability and reduce downtime in a cylinder filling plant with Calor Gas. The unit enables production to be changed quickly from butane to propane and has been in operation for over 15 years.
