Increasing demand to access Donghua’s Chain ID App, means it is now available to download from the App Store and Google Play in Europe.
Following the successful launch of the Chain ID App in the UK in April, sister companies in the Donghua Chain Group have requested access to the tool for their customers.
Donghua Limited provides chains and sprockets to Ireland through their Product Partner, Reliance Bearing & Gear Co, who were keen to offer the App to their customers.
Donghua Hungary, who work closely with Donghua in the UK, were also keen to adopt this new technology and the App is now available in Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Bob Wellsbury, managing director of Donghua Limited and the driving force behind this tool, explains: “I’m delighted that the Chain ID App has been so positively received. In the UK, we receive many calls from engineers who need help to identify the right replacement chain for a piece of equipment. Developing the Online Chain ID Tool as a mobile application means engineers can now complete the Chain ID form when out on-site on any device. Customers have found the convenience of the App really useful and feedback has been tremendous.”
Donghua has also updated the App so it auto-fills a user’s contact details making it even more user-friendly.
The Chain ID Tool on the website and the App currently helps identify Leaf chain, Agricultural chain and attachments and standard Roller chain and attachments, with further developments planned including Conveyor Chain and Sprockets. Future updates to the App can be automatically downloaded to a user’s device as they become available.
