Joining the Sandvik Core & Standard Products team at Halesowen, West Midlands, is Paul Brown. Paul joins the sales team as Field Sales for Scotland, North East and Cumbria.
Formerly having worked in stockholding and manufacturing, Paul has extensive expertise in sales, customer service and business development. His experience includes the steel industry, oil & gas and manufacturing where he was responsible for material sourcing, contract reviews and tendering as well as package building. He has an in-depth technical knowledge across tube, pipe and bar products.
In his new role Paul will be visiting customers and working closely with the internal sales team at Halesowen on the development of new accounts, and developing business and relationships with existing customers.
“I have already had the opportunity to meet some of our customers and am looking forward to building a closer, supportive relationship enhancing the range of Sandvik products we supply in to key industry sectors,” said Paul Brown.
A keen musician, Paul plays the piano and key boards and used to perform in a band. When time allows he also enjoys restoring classic cars.
