With the TCT Show almost upon us, MEPCA rounds up what visitors can expect from the event.

Innovation up-close

At this year’s TCT Show over 250 exhibitors will be showing the latest technologies and services covering the entire design-to-manufacturing value chain. An anticipated 10,000 plus visitors can expect product launches, UK debuts and examples of innovative applications across aerospace, medical, automotive and more. Highlights include the European debut of Stratasys’ newly-launched Fortus 380CF Production 3D Printer, 3D Systems’ scalable Figure 4 production platform, and Ultimaker’s new larger S5 dual extrusion system which is already being leveraged by major industrial players such as Ford.

Hear from the Hall of Famers

The Main Stage will host the TCT Hall of Fame panel session featuring this year’s inductees and moderated by TCT Head of Content Dan O’Connor. The ability to bring together some of the most influential characters from the early days of the additive manufacturing (AM) industry will give not only a glimpse into our shared history but also remind us of the pitfalls we must all avoid.

World-class speakers

The TCT Main Stage is also the place to be to hear from Blue Chips, SMEs and research and academia leaders and learn how 3D technologies are making a real impact in the manufacturing world. Grab a seat and take in valuable insight from the likes of Airbus, PepsiCo, Natural History Museum and University of Sheffield on how 3D technologies are being applied across research and industry.

Let’s #3DTALK

The brainchild of Cyant and Women in 3D Printing, the popular 3DTALK event series returns to TCT Show for another lively panel session featuring four industry leaders sharing their experience and knowledge from across the 3D technologies spectrum. Catch this session on the Tech Stage at 12:45 to 13:30.

Accelerating technologies

Do you want to find the next big thing? The TCT Acceleration Zone is a unique new show floor feature designed to help take new ideas and organisations to the next stage whether it is a start-up, research project, or simply just a good idea. If you’re an investor or a business looking to acquire new technology, head this way.

Investor Meeting Scheme

TCT Group is inviting AM and 3D printing companies to pitch for investment, and potentially win free consultation from AM Ventures (AMV) at this year’s TCT Show.

Launching the Investor Meeting Scheme, the alliance between TCT and AMV is looking to find the next big thing from the sector’s vast number of start-ups. At TCT Show companies will get the chance to pitch to investment specialists with a vast network of AM players.

The TCT Show takes place in Hall 3 of the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham, UK, from 25-27 September 2018.
