For TECHLINE™ it has been noted that the major trend within agriculture, farming and industrial manufacturing has been to harvest the benefits of intelligent automation. The use of computers and software for monitoring and control has led towards more electronic devices and applications.
In 1980, LINAK produced its first electric linear actuator for agricultural machinery. Since then, actuator solutions have evolved into powerful push/pull tools in a broad variety of applications. The latest development is in actuators with integrated controllers, allowing them to integrate with BUS-communication control systems in tractors, combine harvesters, all sorts of outdoor power equipment, construction vehicles, waste water and energy facilities, all sorts of systems within farming, and much more.
A common feature of the LINAK portfolio is the actuator solution’s ability to perform flawlessly in harsh or extreme conditions.
LINAK UK Ltd have been working closely with Harper Adams University and are proud to be sponsoring the 2nd Year of the Hands Free Hectare project. This project is the world’s first field-based arable crop established, maintained and assessed from seed to harvest using autonomous machinery.
