Intoware celebrates inaugural RealWear certification status

Intoware has been named the first third party app to be certified by handsfree wearable technology pioneers, RealWear, for use on its devices.

RealWear has awarded Intoware with the accolade in recognition of how well Intoware’s WorkfloPlus technology works on the company’s devices.

The move marked Realwear’s first certification for a third party app, commencing its new Certified by Realwear initiative which aims to ‘highlight applications that work particularly well on Realwear devices and provide both real value to uses and give users a great handsfree experience whilst using them’.

Applications must pass a stringent list of certification requirements to be awarded the status, across areas including the clarity of the application’s interface, dictation capabilities and authentication criteria.

Keith Tilley, CEO at Intoware, said: “We’re absolutely over the moon to be the first third party app to be presented with Certified by RealWear status.

“We have a close working relationship with RealWear and our WorkfloPlus technology seamlessly integrates with their wearable devices to provide frontline workers with streamlined processes and improved efficiency, as well as enhanced safety and success.

“This certification is testimony to the hard work of our team to provide users with the very best hands-free experience possible.”

WorkfloPlus is a mobile technology platform created by Intoware to enable businesses to digitise processes and tasks across industrial operations, converting them from paper to be accessible via mobile, wearable technology and desktop devices. Providing information not previously available for data-informed decision making to drive productivity and efficiency.
