The company recognises how important it is for sales engineers to be able to identify replacement chain quickly. That’s why they’ve developed a number of tools to help their customers.
Donghua built an online Chain ID Tool on their website that simplifies the process of identifying replacement chain and last month launched an App version of the tool.
Bob Wellsbury, managing director of Donghua Limited, explains: “Our Chain ID App is perfect when sales engineers are out on-site. Identifying chain now couldn’t be easier or quicker. Simply use the App when out in the field, upload a photo and we’ll notify you of the correct replacement chain within 1 hour. It means sales engineers can now identify the chain, advise their customers and secure an order whilst still at their appointment!”
The online tool and App currently identify Leaf Chain, Agricultural Chain & Attachments and Standard Roller Chain & Attachments. Further developments are planned including Conveyor Chain and Sprockets.
