This summer has seen BSRIA (Building Services Research and Information Association) pass two significant milestones with the opening up of an instrument calibration laboratory in Lille, France, and an office and laboratory complex in Preston, Lancashire. With both operations supporting many sectors of industry, the new BSRIA North facility will be of particular interest to the users of test and measurement devices as in addition to offering a training suite for many of the BSRIA courses, Instrument Solution has now expanded its equipment hire, calibration and sales operations into this northern base.
The state-of-art Preston laboratory has been custom built and offers accredited calibrations for measurement parameters such as voltage, current, pressure and temperature which all compliment the products available in their rental fleet as well as from the sales portfolios. Equipment available for hire and sale direct from stock includes products such as thermal imaging cameras from FLIR & Testo, air velocity and indoor air quality instruments from TSI and ultrasonic water flow meters from Flexim.
