As a regular participant at this event, Telsonic UK will once again showcase the latest in ultrasonic modules and systems, targeted at packaging and food cutting applications, from their comprehensive range.
The precise control of the ultrasonic process, together with the reliable and durable seal produced when using ultrasonics, makes the technology an attractive proposition for a wide range of packaging applications, including the welding and sealing of rigid and flexible packaging products.
Food cutting using ultrasonic technology remains a steady growth area for Telsonic, especially in applications where the technology is used in conjunction with robots. This increase in the number of systems being integrated with robots can in part be attributed to Telsonic’s development of special 500mm & 760mm wide cutting sonotrodes. These robot-friendly modules are being used by a number of food industry system integrators to produce highly flexible cutting and portioning systems for applications on tray baked products, cakes, gateaux’s and products presented on conveyor systems.
